At Scansupply we develop and design batteries. From the smallest power cells keeping pacemakers – and human beings – alive to the big boxes that store the energy generated by windmills, our batteries come in all shapes and sizes, and for all purposes.
We’re at the forefront of battery innovation. Partnering with experts in hardware and software engineering, we have made it our specialty to invent power sources for products as they make the leap from the future into our everyday lives.
We also distribute some of the world’s most powerful batteries, and we have access to factories across the globe.
Fossil fuels are so last millennium. Not only do they
pollute and will eventually run out. They are also heavy and unhandy – ill-suited for a future that demands mobility, and squarely at odds with those of us who champion
Scansupply is a leader in battery design and development, and we work closely with our clients to power their
dreams of a better tomorrow.
Batteries are tricky things. They look the same fully charged or empty, new or old, and – much like human beings – they don’t all age at the same pace. Up until recently, this left you more or less at the mercy of your battery. But intelligent batteries are able to tell you how they’re doing, so they can keep doing it without interruption. And they can be operated remotely, so you’re free to work from anywhere.
In short, with intelligent batteries we’re ready to supply power to the Internet of Things.
We run our business with the utmost respect for our clients. Batteries are at the heart of modern technology, and many of the designs we work on require absolute confidentiality. We understand that. Perhaps that’s why our clients come from all over the world, and from many different fields, including medical, marine, defense, intelligence services and civil electronics.
We’re pleased to say that many of our clients include us in the development process, drawing on our expertise when designing new and groundbreaking products. And we’ll be happy to supply power to your idea too.
Energy storage is the key to green energy – and to smart energy. With batteries that are able to store large quantities of surplus energy, you can light entire cityscapes at night, as we helped do in Saudi Arabia with sun-powered streetlights.
You don’t have to be an air traffic controller or a brain surgeon to understand the need for uninterrupted power supply. All you have to be is human. But being human, you also know that the world is not a perfect place. Accidents do happen. That’s why we develop batteries for standby power. So you can stay on even if the rest of the world goes off.
Tracking devices promise to put an end to man’s eternal search – for car keys, wallets, bikes, hospital beds and the flight paths of migratory birds, among other things. But even the best tracking device is only as good as its battery. And that’s where we like to come in.
Scansupply delivers high-performance batteries in all shapes and sizes, for a multitude of purposes. We are one of Scandinavia’s leading distributors of SAFT and ARTS batteries, and we continue to add to our product range.
